What we collect

If you email us, we collect your email address and the message you send.

If you ask to take part in a research conversation, we collect the details you choose to share. Those conversations are voluntary. They are not medical consultations.

When ordering opens, an order will also include your name, delivery address, the test you choose, and payment details handled by the payment provider. Ordering is not open on this website today. The purchase buttons do not take payment.

A saliva test produces genetic information. That information is sensitive. We collect it only if you order a test and return a sample.

How we use it

• To answer your questions.
• To arrange a research conversation, if you ask for one.
• To send a kit, test your sample, and provide your report, once ordering is open.
• To keep this website secure.

We do not sell personal information or genetic data.

Who sees it

Samples are analysed by a specialist genetics laboratory in County Durham. The laboratory sees the sample and the information needed to perform the test.

We use email to reply to you. The email service sees the messages needed to deliver those replies.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry emails for as long as we need them to answer you and to keep a record of that reply.

Cookies

This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. If we add them later, we will ask for your consent first.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@geneticedge.io.
